World Pharmacist Day
World Pharmacy Day started in 2009 in Istanbul during the FIP Council. The aim of this exercise is to promote and advocate for the role of pharmacists in delivering safe effective healthcare. World Pharmacists Day (25 September) marks the anniversary of the inception of FIP in 1912 and was adopted by the FIP Council in 2009. On the 25th of September is the annual World Pharmacists Day.
This day’s significance is a chance to thank and recognize pharmacists and pharmacy professionals for their vital role and contribution in our life and for improving global health. This day aims to promote pharmacists’ contribution to health global health improvement and advancement through their work.
